The whole space season of regular show is very unique, despite being very different from usual seasons. A Regular Epic Final Battle part 3 is a sad episode while also being an amazing one. It's a nice way to finish off the series, plus the ending didn't seem like it was rushed, which only made it better

The Finale is amazing Season 8 is one of my favorite season of the series showing pops his true origins. He was first one to appear in the series and sadly that he has to sacrifice himself in order to save the universe and his friends. All of them Goes on to their Separate ways now and started a family while Skips still works for the park.

An amazing finale to a great tv show! It wraps the whole show up in a nice little bow. Its not like most animated series that dont have a nice ending. It makes you feel like you actually got something got out of watching it.

Such a brilliant yet heartbreaking ending to my favorite show of the 2010s. 10/10 the only thing I did find upsetting is that he didn't get back with CJ as I love them together.

Warning: Spoilers
I am so sad Once I heard on tv regular show series finale I was sad and heartbroken I was hoping regular show would last a good 10 or 12 seasons. The most sad part of the finale was when Pops was in heaven and pulled out a vhs that said Regular Show. I am going to miss the intro and Slackers Mordecai and Rigby, Angry Benson, Funny Muscle Man and High Five Ghosts, Know it all Skips and Fun and loving Pops and of course Nicholi (Thomas)

Perfect ending to a great series
pledgerock21 June 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Just finally finished Regular Show here and I am floored by how awesome the ending was. It's easily the best 3 episodes in the series, bar none. It defines epic and it's even bittersweet, I was surprised with the emotional impact it had on me. Because Regular Show doesn't normally go for the emotions. Pops sacrifices himself to save the universe and all his friends, with a HUG nonetheless! Truly the most Pops thing he has ever done. We see the characters grow old and mature and have kids, yet still, Mordecai and Rigby, even in the 40s, haven't lost some of their old ways. I did have some issues just with the series as a whole.

Wow I loved seeing Rigby and Eileen together, I didn't like how they gave Mordecai this love story with Margaret for like 3 or 4 seasons and then have a love triangle with CJ and then he's dating CJ etc And then all of that ends. The last season, we barely see either of them. It just seemed like a big waste to me. You had two really great characters and they were just completely forgotten and it bummed me out. I really wish Mordecai and Margaret we're together at the end and she was in space for a bunch of episodes. I didn't like that Mordecai just randomly bumps into someone and then that person is his partner (in a montage within the last few mins of the finale.) Mord + Marg 4ever! I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks that!

Also, I wanted another appearance by Thomas. How could you forget about him?! He was another underused character.

My rating for the show altogether is an 8/10 it's great, hilarious, creative, and super fun...but with 247 episodes there's quite a bit of filler (the muscle man centered episodes weren't usually great) and Margaret should have been treated WAAAAAY better than she was. They could've given Skips more to do, too.

Don't get me wrong about the criticism. This is a good show. Jolly good show!

A bit anti climactic and spoilers.
lenamason-8728227 July 2017
Warning: Spoilers
It was good but it's got a plot hole for me as why not after seeing that way was destined to fail why did they go with that plan it's just stupid plus Anti-Pops' reformation it was too quick, just a hug and the person who is the complete opposite of one of the nice people ever just changes like that; Rigby slowly changed into a nice guy and he was much nicer then Anti-Pops is ridiculous but nice ending which I enjoyed.

I'm so sorry everyone

Warning: Spoilers
Really, I am truly sorry for the low rating for this episode, I wanted to give this a much higher rating, but I can't because I was immensely disappointed as it did not meet my expectations. Before marking this review as "unhelpful", please hear me out!

So you know how, at the end of the episode The Eileen Plan, Eileen says "I get to carry you next time" and Rigby says "Deal"? Well, I was very much hoping that we actually get to see that "next time" at some point in Regular Show. I was told by some people that it was the final episode where Rigby and Eileen gets married, so when I eventually started watching this episode, that thought of their marriage was the only thing going through my mind.

Skipping past the events of Pops and Anti Pops (I never really cared for that if I'm being completely honest), during the scenes depicting the next 25 years after the park returned back to normal, all that really happens are just 2 or so minutes of just whizzing by each scene seeing what was going on during the next 25 years. That's, quite obviously, not enough time, and in the end we never got to see Eileen carrying Rigby "next time", which most definitely happened during the next 25 years but we didn't get to see it. There were about 2 or 3 scenes depicting their relationship and marriage, and that was it.

I was also hoping that the Regular Show 25 Years Later comic would have shown that "next time", but of course they did not. Bummer.

Thankfully that's where fanart and fanfictions come into play, as they can actually go into detail about when Eileen carried Rigby "the next time". This is the sort of scenario where fanart would be perfect. That still doesn't change my perception of how that should have been shown in the show itself.

In conclusion, I was interested in the final episode of. Regular Show for a reason. That reasoning was one that this episode did not go in depth enough about, and that's why I'm very very disappointed. What a shame.

Jolly good show indeed. Warning: Spoilers
After 8 seasons, 261 episodes and one movie "Regular Show" reached its epic conclusion. And while it's a bit sad having to say goodbye one of my favorite animated shows from the recent years, I'm glad that the series ended on its own terms instead of just being cancelled, having a quite satisfying closure for the main characters.

I liked the way the finale brought back many characters from the previous episodes, and that it also referenced "The Naive Man from Lolliland", one of J.G. Quintel's student films which along "2 in the AM PM" leaded to the creation of "Regular Show".

"A Regular Epic Final Battle" was a great finale for the whole series, having many fun, exciting and emotional moments. The use of David Bowie's "Heroes" song for the last minutes was quite fitting, finishing the story of Mordecai and Rigby in a wonderful, bittersweet manner.

With all its highs and lows, my final overall impression of "Regular Show" is still quite positive after all, with this episode as the perfect send-off for all those viewers and fans who had been watching the series since the year 2010. A jolly good show indeed.

If it weren't for Pops we all wouldn't be here.

Warning: Spoilers
I wish I had watched this show sooner. This show means so much to me and I'm so glad that it ended the way it did. The part where pops is able to stop the cycle of violence with just a hug was so beautiful. They had been in an endless cycle because no one had thought of peace. After it was said and done the montage of scenes at the end made me nearly burst into tears. Theses characters I have grew to love had all moved on. And I realized that it was called regular show because this was pop's regular life all the way up to his death. I don't know if the creator intended this but I thought this was the reason. I think the finale ended in regular show fashion with a big battle and it was just beautiful. I truly don't think I'll see another show from cartoon network that will ever top this finale.

Satisfyingly Disappointed.
Johndavis_20138 January 2021
The whole Season 8 was a jump the shark moment for me. The space arc with Pops being some chosen one was somewhat not apart of the shows original fabric. Yeah they've been to space a bunch and done some surreal things but this was a bit too much. You could sort of see it coming to ahead in Season 7 as it progressed. Sure there are some brilliant moments of course but while watching the end I was disappointed in the direction the shoe went but satisfied at how it ended if that makes sense. For me I'm going to pretend like season 8 was just a long stand alone movie that isn't Canon.

A Regular Epic Finale Indeed
travelertoon16 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This review is on the Regular Show 3-part finale special, "A Regular Epic Final Battle." Set in season 8, where the park crew and Eileen are in space. The Regular Show finale is about Pops having to fight and defeat Anti-Pops before he can destroy the universe. Even if I still think "Exit 9B" is better. I will tell you why this is one of the greatest, best, series finales and Regular Show episodes in general. Mostly point form and they are spoilers.

-Do want to point out one issue. In part 1, the Lolliland boy coming to sing the national anthem was fine at first. Then he tried to be more "cool" which I thought was unneeded and cringe. That is more of a nitpick. The rest is mostly positive reviewing here.

-Animation is great; very well done action scenes, the backgrounds in space, the battles between Pops, the park crew, their allies against Anti-Pops and his allies. Pops landing in "The Naive Man from Lolliland" student film, characters and surroundings turning into adhesive notes and storyboards, how Pops managed to defeat Anti-Pops.

-Will summarize the plot and writing of each 3 episodes on why they are amazing individually.

-Called "A Regular Epic Finale Battle Part 1". The park crew arrives in Lolliland. Interesting to learn the history of Pops and Anti-Pops, their battles and more. Mordecai and the park crew form a trap for Anti-Pops when he arrives, which was genius and shows them to be helpful, except that Anti-Pops escapes.

-Next "A Regular Epic Finale Battle Part 2". Awesome battles between Pops and Anti-Pops. The park crew along with some of their allies have an awesome battle against Anti-Pops minions and Streaming. Soon it gets more intense, Anti-Pops unlocks his Titan form and begins erasing, which is scary to look at. Pops soon unlocks his Titan form and fights him. Just when the two are about to collide their fists which would reset the universe, Mordecai and Rigby on a ship collide between them.

-The very last episode is called "The Power'' just like the very first episode. Was really neat and cool that the very last episode has the duo going back to the first one. Until Rigby remembers about the future including the finale, showing Mordecai the future. They then use the Power (A keyboard from the first episode) to travel and help Pops in the future. We go back to Pops and Anti-Pops battle with each other, Mordy and Rigby appear between them, more cool action and animation scenes. Pops figures out how to defeat Anti-Pops, by hugging him and sacrificing them both to the sun. A genuinely heartwarming moment and may Pops rest in peace. This fixed the destruction Anti-Pops caused and revived everyone.

-Later the dome with the park and crew land back on earth. Rest is just heartwarming; we get to see the character's futures, their jobs and families. 25 years later when the park crew and their children have a reunion. An older Mordecai and Rigby remember their past time at the park. After that the show ends with Pops' voice in heaven watching them.

-The characters, really likable and portrayed good. Pops was awesome, brave, his friendly and kind self who in his own ways stopped his brother. Anti-Pops was such a cool, tough, intimidating villain who did a good job as the endgame villain. Mordecai and Rigby, were really likable, both helped Pops and each other. Rest of the characters are the other villains being a challenge, as well as the other park members and their allies being likable and a helpful challenge against them.

-Other reasons why this finale is amazing. The song David Bowie's "Heroes" played is great when we are seeing the character's futures. Some funny moments in this action packed and heartwarming finale. It is well paced, not too slow or fast. The very end with the last line being "Jolly Good Show."

"A Regular Epic Final Battle'' Part 1, 2 and "The Power" is one of the greatest, best, series finales and Regular Show episodes. Amazing animation including ones different from the show and action. Fantastic plot and writing, includes funny, intense and heartwarming moments. A cool and tough villain against our likable heroes. "Heroes" being played at the character's futures. Overall this was an amazing conclusion to this "Jolly Good Show". It gets a 10/10.
