This film is based on a 9 page short film script, originally intended to be released in June 2016.
Josh Miller signed on to play 'Jack Elligott' after reading the first few pages of the script.
Three actresses have been cast to portray Maggie Novak. The first actress left due to contract disputes. Her successor was cast four days later, but was released after one month, due to scheduling conflicts. The third, Sarah Curtis, auditioned & officially cast two days after her predecessor's exit.
The part of Leona De Martino was created specifically for actress Marylee Osborne. She had worked with director Ryan Stacy on a sizzle reel for a series in development at Concept Media. After that production was canceled, and 'Failing Grace' was being revisited, Stacy offered her the role of Leona before there were fully constructed scenes with the character.
Josh Miller (Jack Elligott) gained 20+ pounds of muscle & adhered to a strict lifestyle & mind-frame change for months.
