A friend suggested that I watch this film. I appreciate the recommendation! Mandar, the filmmaker and the film's guide, has a passionate love for both his native India and his adoptive home, America. He believes that India has a spiritual healing salve for what ails in the heart and soul of America. Inspired by Martin Luther King Jr.'s journey to India, Mandar takes six diverse Americans who have each suffered a challenge or tragedy in their lives on a 10 day pilgrimage to India. The geography, the Indian people, the spirit and magic inherent to the place, plus the interaction between the pilgrims themselves, they are transformed.

From India with Love is a really inspiring story of a transformational pilgrimage. In today's world of hate and violence, this story inspires of values of compassion and Gandhi's principle of non-violence.
