- Tom Lewis was throat-slit (or dropped) aboard the yacht, drifting at sea, he and fellow-Cornish partner Sophie Boyd own to be rented by tourist parties like recently birthday guests Rachel Baldwin, Lucy Chapman and Hema Patel, who are each-others alibis. Nobody sees a possible motive or suspect, but Humphrey realizes the recent storm would have washed his blood away and wonders about a medal stamped with a tulip logo, which turns out that of a UK bank. Four of its investment officers -young hotshots Steve Thomas, Martin West, Dominic Green and their boss and Frank Henderson- were on the island and inquired to hire the yacht shortly before. So the case officially goes to London Met detective inspector Jack Mooney, who is happy to collaborate with Humphrey's party, including Dwayne, who is confronting his lush father Nelson Myers who left his mother. All points to Henderson after J.P. researches Frank knew Tom as sailing body and then rival bank colleague but pretended not to, only he is found apparently having shot himself in the HQ office. J.P. also finds Tim was smuggling and the murderer used a hidden compartment to sneak back into the marina unnoticed.—KGF Vissers
