Milo

Milo Ventimiglia, makes me lose it every time, in this particular episode, his tears in the car, that actor is brilliant, haunted by a powerful past surely, kinda like in the show, the character and the actor are perfect together, this show got a great cast, writers, producers, immensely talented actors, and it knows it, it's just brilliant, the story is just talking about life, so emotionnally, the cinematography and the music from siddhartha khosla are fitting it so well. At times some episodes arent as good as the others, but man it is a show, it needs build up, and still: every episode I shed a tear or way more.

Let me get into your heart

Warning: Spoilers
When we are in the beginning of a relationship, we want to show our positive side. And we are reluctant to reveal the scar deep in our heart to our special someone. However, when the other half tell us that is it totally ok whether you want to tell or not, because s/he is falling in love with you. That is SWEET and that is RESPECT.

Sometimes (#3.7)

Warning: Spoilers
A nice episode. Beautiful acting but I must say I was a bit bored. Jack in Vietnam was an interesting story. But his road trip with Rebecca might be important to know their relationship and the effect of Vietnam on him but it was pretty bland. I am looking forward to more Kevin in Vietnam but this time with his girlfriend's family story wasn't really of interest to me. Looking forward to the next episode.

Disappointment and Elation
Hitchcoc22 April 2024
With Toby finally getting up and around, we have some assuredness that this relationship will settle down. Audio, the dog, plays an important part in this. There are two principle stories. Rebecca wants to go to Los Angeles to meet with music people (to be discovered, if you will). So she and Jack head off. Jack has a visit he wants to make, and Rebecca naively thinks she is so good she will be embraced by this gigantic record industry. Her audition goes Ok but does she have anything that makes her stand out? Apparently, nothing that they see. In the third story, Kevin and Zoe are off to Vietnam to try to find a woman who may have been involved with Jack during the war. And the war takes over as Jack searches for his brother, who is really messed up. Now, there are some disappointments in these developments but for each there is growth.

BORING!
Joomie020817 November 2018
I loved season 1 and 1/2 of season 2. This is us is getting so boring! I don't so care going back in like Jack's childhood of Jack's and Rebecca's first love scene. The scenario is going nowhere! Jack is dead and please MOVE ON with season 3.
