Black on Black: it's a crime!
lor_31 January 2017
I'm wading through the entire Adam & Eve catalog, in search of classic gems, the best of which were all shot pre-2005, when the company's name was changed from Adam & Eve Productions to Adam & Eve Pictures. Along the way, I pause occasionally to sample the relatively low-grade videos released through its Bad Seed label, of which this junker is representative.

It's a throwback to the early 1980s VHS era, when Tony El Lay, Jeannie Pepper and the great Field Marshal Bradley (if you remember his work, then you know where Sam L. Jackson stole his current persona) toiled in all-black-cast videos as something of a novelty. The worn-out premise here, amplified by a repetitious loop showing map and environs of L.A. to transfer from Stockton to Beverly Hills that introduces each of five separate segments, has young Black starlets impaled by big black dicks after brief biographical conversations.

Like all of Reality-TV and its porno off-shoots, this results in tedious crap. Dispensing with story and fictional characters renders Adult Entertainment generic, and that's what A & E delivers in two hours-plus of nothingness. Sound is poor (typical of the "who cares?" approach of director "Jax", and the sex is uneventful. The only momentary interest for me was listening to starlet "Manage a Roz" explain her choice of such a stupid pidgin French phrase as her screen moniker.
