An interesting (though not original) concept, working towards the death of a character whom we know dies as the story begins. Although The Close (a gated community) seems like a desirable place to live, with nice homes, just about all the residents are really awful people. They include adulterers, liars, blackmailers, drug dealers (and users), bullies, and of course, a killer. Some plot points are confusing and you need to fill in a lot of blanks along the way. The cast is serviceable, although most of the characters they play are unpleasant. I watched this on Britbox, mostly in Welsh and thought the subtitles were fine. It was interesting how characters sometimes lapsed into English. Sadly, Britbox's episode outline gave away much of the plot of the episode, so there were few surprises. The shows end at the point that Jan dies, so we don't know what happens to those involved.
