In and out of Sedalia if you know what I mean
safenoe18 August 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Here erstwhile Conservative minister Michael Portillo takes us to Sedalia, which in its heyday hosted around a dozen brothels, and as his guide indicated, many of the clientelle went "in and out" of Sedalia for the red light entertainment. In and out indeed.

We also learn Scott Joplin, famous for his piano theme song for the motion picture The Sting, performed in Sedalia.

I would love to have known if Michael had to endure rude TSA "officials" when he entered the USA. Anyway, Michael visits Independence, the home town of one of the White House greats, Harry S Truman.

Also Michael recreates a wagon scene where he's served soup. It made me think of the Blazing Saddles scene with the beans.
