Now, I like Chopper. I really do. As a side character, he gives a lot of levity and humor to rather serious episodes. However, it seems like the writers haven't completely been able to crack the secret to his solo episodes. They've been trying to give him these ever since the last season, and while I have always found them charming, I don't understand the need to keep on doing them. At least, this episode had some of the core characters involved. I have a hard time getting adjusted to the character of AP-5, but I continue to hope that he will grow on me. His moment at the end of the episode confused me a lot, and when he began his musical number, I didn't know if I thought it was the greatest thing or worst thing ever. If put in comparison to the quality of the last few episodes, this didn't do it for me, and I don't think that they can afford a lot more of these quiet episodes this season. I don't know how many episodes there are left, but I would like them to stay on track, and continue to add on what they are doing with Thrawn, and maybe also give us a little bit more time with Sabine and what she's doing.
