- Gunter gets some pictures that indicate that the fire was no accident. What now? Mielitzer panics, but his son calms him down, so he just buys a wedding ring for Sydney. Meanwhile, Kim is glad that Theo gave her a raise.
- Gunter is back in bed. Mathis still has the feeling something doesn't fit into the picture of the barn fire. Gunter tells him his point of view that leads to the same conclusion. Sydney notices that Merle has warm feelings for Gunter. She confirms Holger she agrees to his plan of a marriage within three weeks. Holger hears Mathis inviting her to investigate in the barn incident. He asks Patrick to keep an eye on them; Patrick has to disappoint Kim who prepared a comfortable night for them. Patrick assures dad that there is nothing unusual on the police photos of the fire remains. Sandra talks with Carla about the difference between Ben and her.
