Amazingly, The 12 was filmed in only five days.
Cinematographer Tom Watts only signed on to the film 3 weeks before filming commenced and had never met Director James Whitehill before.
Shot on the Arri Alexa Mini, with Zeiss Super Speed Prime lenses.
'The 12' almost wasn't written. James and Jessica Whitehill had originally planned to produce 'Sven' but decided it deserved a larger budget and so shelved it for 12 months.
James Whitehill met Femi Oyeniran in March, 2017 through a mutual friend. Femi read the first draft of The 12 and immediately signed on to produce. They went into production 6 weeks after meeting for the first time.
