The Making of 'Der Todesking' (1991)

This fifteen-minute documentary takes a look at the making of Jorg Buttgereit's DER TODESKING. We see a bunch of behind-the-scenes footage and then we hear the director talking about the production. He talks about having to do something other than NEKROMANTIK and having to worry about horror fans not accepting anything different. From here he talks about other aspects of the production including some of the challenges of working on a low-budget. The infamous penis sequence is discussed as is the corpse used in the film. If you're a fan of the director then you'll enjoy this as Buttgereit tells some nice stories and the footage taken on the set is fascinating to watch.
