The Making of 'Nekromantik 2' (1992)

The great thing about Jorg Buttgereit is that he makes this making of documentaries and especially back during his hot streak of NEKROMANTIK, DER TODESKING and this one for NEKROMANTIK 2. This one here follows the same direction of the others as we get behind-the-scenes footage with a spoken interview with Buttgereit. He talks about the various issues that come up during low-budget filmmaking and talks about his thoughts on such graphic violence in movies. He also talks about Germany's reaction to the film, which had them pretty much make it impossible to view there. Fans of the film and director will certainly enjoy this as he's a fascinating person to listen to. Plus we get some great footage from the set with a lot of it aimed at the special effects so we get to see how some of the more graphic moments were pulled off.
