A very entertaining music video

A wild riot of the senses and a pure rock n'roll song from the 1990's, Billy Idol's "Cradle of Love" is pure awesomeness not just because of the song but also its crazed video revolving around a beautiful woman (Betsy Lynn George) tormenting a shy guy (Joshua Townshend-Zellner, he could pass as Eugene Levy son) disrupting his piece and quiet while she listens to the sound of Idol coming from a tape she has, of which he cannot deal properly since she moves and dances frantically around his apartment destroying everything. He likes her but hates the disturbance she brings through the night, running around to avoid destruction and even avoid her methods of seduction on him. Idol's appearance comes through a TV screen and we just see his face in several close-up effects, and this is due to a motorcycle accident he suffered that year that took some time for him to rehabilitate.

It's a fun and wild video, and I guess some viewers will want to imagine this dream/nightmare scenario happening in their lives where a dreamy hot neighbor interrupts us with a simple request that can lead to some chaos and confusion that later on turns out with great surpring results. Excellent editing and well-put together with the rhythm of the music, everything is perfect and the acting by the duo is a plus. This is the official video, I had seen one which includes scenes from "The Adventures of Ford Fairlane" of which the song is part of the soundtrack - I've seen this alternative video once then never again. Anyway, it's an excellent track by Idol and put him on the spot during the 1990's, decade of fewer hits for him if compared to the 1980's. Lots of fun! 8/10.
