Dont get the high scores at all. I must be missing something 😱.. Poorly acted and pretty boring.

Forget that this is a low budget independent film, cause issues in it hav nothing to do with budget. Its a film that wants to be a drama, but isn't dramatic. It has boxing in it, but aint anywhere as interesting as other boxing films. And the social issues in the film lack in anything tangible in terms of authenticity. It just lacks any sort of meaning or reason. The film is nicely located in Ireland, and has a great flavoring of the locals, but the actual film is a misguided and feels like a misfire on all fronts. The film just stinks of cheesiness and bad storytelling.

I saw this movie over Xmas on Amazon Prime, based on the trailer and thought it was okay, its not grity or dark which is sometimes what you need.

There were funny bits and some very poignant bits too, I especially enjoyed the musical bits, as they were very well done and took me by surprise.

Its a small movie that fits really well into that small town which seemed to have so many bars in one place and looks lovely, so maybe Ill give it a visit. Id recommend the movie

Really good movie, really enjoyable. My partner and I came across the trailer online few days ago! Really eye catching and enjoying so we ordered the dvd. We both really enjoyed it, both completely hooked to the movie time Flew by! Really catchy ending too! Look forward to Seeing what the guys release next well done guys good job done! Defo a must watch

I found this a few days ago on Sky and as an action movie fan thought i'd give it a go. Actually ended up really enjoying it, it was cheesy fun, with some good action and fights, and some enjoyable characters. Worth a few hours of your time for some evening entertainment!

Came across this on Sky Store and thought from the trailer what a fun little movie, which is probably not for everyone but I enjoyed it overall, especially as a fan of the Fast and Furious series. (although had to look up the big guy Kim Kold - to remember him).

Acting seems to be a common issue with someon here, but I thought it was okay some better than others. If your at a loose end one evening give this one a go.

Watched this film with my partner last night, we both really enjoyed it, so different to anything we have seen before! Great twist in the storyline too! Well done team

Some of the critical reviews sound very harsh I guess this is a movie you either like or dislike, I liked it a lot and rated it so.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but from what I've been told getting any independent movie made and even more getting it distributed is a massive uphill struggle for film makers, so maybe criticism should be more constructive.

I thought it was funny and Kim Kold has a great presence throughout and reminded me of his debut Teddy Bear.

Don't expect history of Ireland here just an entertaining family drama, well told...

A funny and quirky film with an emotive story that will resonate with a lot of young gay people (especially in the sporting world). Nice pace and vibe. Well shot and acted especially the doctor. Nice soundtrack and looks like a beautiful city. Very enjoyable.

I've been waiting to watch this since I've known about its release date! It wasn't a let down that's for sure! Right from the off I was Impressed and the ending left me wanting more!

Hopefully this isn't the last time we see Grayson Matthews on the DVD racks and indeed in the cinema!

I started watching this film in the expectation of it being a by-the-numbers boxing drama. And, indeed, it does start off that way and I was fully expecting a classic "personal growth through boxing" film with "the fall" followed by "the journey" and ending with "the redemption". And, it was chugging along quite merrily in that direction in a competently entertaining style.

Until about halfway through... Then everything changes... Suddenly, it becomes a LGBT+ musical.

Yes. Imagine that about halfway through "Rocky", it suddenly becomes "Hairspray". Ok, maybe not that dramatically, but, it does take a little bit of mental adjustment to get your head around it. But, once you've made that leap you get to enjoy the film all over again - with original songs, well sung, and believable characters with believable relationships.

It may be a very small genre, but, if you're looking for a LGBT+ musical boxing film set in Ulster, then this is the best in the field!

I enjoyed movie as I'm Irish and like to see films made here as I can identify with places etc. I couldn't understand why the main characters were all English when it seemed they were brought up in Derry? The brother/sister/Emma MC David all seemed like Londoners,no problem whatsoever with them as they are all talented,but just couldn't get it ? However great film ⚽
