After too many other exciting things happen between Hanazuki and the Hemkas, Dazzelessence Jones and Sleepy Unicorn try to help Hanazuki have a day off. They make a picnic for her and the Hemkas, and Doughy Bunington from the dark side of the moon comes to visit and be included in the party. Unfortunately, Orange Hemka is missing, and after Hanazuki finds him at the volcano and falls in, it's up to the Orange Hemka to get the other Hemkas to save Hanazuki from the volcano of fears.
I always loved this episode because it seemed perfect for Mr. Enter to review in Admirable Animations to show what a great character Hanazuki is without spoiling ongoing story arcs for us, much like the Steven Universe episode Lars and the Cool Kids. But it wasn't until today when my mom Linda binge-watched Hanazuki up to this point when she had some insight into the story that I didn't have when I watched this. I won't spoil any important plot points here out of courtesy, but I can say that while we always knew Hanazuki cared for the Hemkas, it wasn't until this episode when we learned that the 10 Hemkas cared for Hanazuki just as much, and so did Sleepy Unicorn and Dazzlessence Jones.
