So after the recap we get a montage of the destruction caused by the CODE being implemented and synths 'waking up' around the world. And then , the introduction of a new 'safe synth'. The new ORANGE EYED model. And we have a new COMPANY introduced. LUNDSTROM.

So it is a year later now?? Laura and Mattie are at home watching the news that says '110,000 people killed a year ago, today' so I'm guessing that Mattie released the CODE a year ago? Hey but at least they saved MIA and LEO right??
At Max's camp, a synth named Agnes gives a speech, that these humans are giving tribute to 110,000 lives they lost, but that the synths had over 100 million of their own kind killed. Yeah I would say that's quite the atrocity!! I guess this Agnes is the new Hester. I am going to miss Hester!!!! Mia and Max talk about how they need to find a way to connect to the humans. Apparently the humans are sabotaging the synth's efforts to remain alive and free by messing with their ability to use power to recharge.
And Niska visits Astrid as her work, which is a BAR created to be a place where synths and humans can hang out together. Someone sets off a BOMB in the place as Niska is leaving. Astrid is hurt bad, but Niska has to leave her lying there as Niska is a fugitive and if the authorities show up she'll get caught.
+1 Star for the bomb sequence. This is like the biggest effect yet the show has had in 3 seasons!!!
And wow so much happens, with Laura. Voss and Sam. Sophie having problems in school. Joe is operating a store, but Laura is living seperately and still working to help the synths. LEO is still ALIVE...on some sort of life support?? Being watched over by MIA??? Mattie comes to visit. The synths have been tending him.
Voss takes Sam to a school and he's goign to try to pass as a human kid. Not sure what the purpose of this is. And Mia and laura meet and talk about how this trying to get rights for synths is not working. That they've made really no progress in the last year.
Niska goes to see Max's group. Niska is there to look for whatever synth set the BOMB. The power goes out again. One of Max's synths is going to die unless they use the battieries that power LEO's life support to save it. So they pull the batteries to save the synth leaving Mattie to physically keep Leo alive.
And meanwhile a team of goons enters Max's base and rounds up all the synths. Agnes and a couple other synths stand up in rebellion!!!!
