More Timber than Ke$ha could ever dream of

"Cry Me a River" is a song by Justin Timberlaky from the beginning of the new millennium and here we got the music video to it. I have probably never been the greatest N*Sync or Timberlake fan, but this one here is very much to my liking. I remember that this was somewhat referencing the singer's relationships with Britney Spears and Alyssa Milano back then and "back then" means in this very case exactly 15 years ago already, perhaps more depending on when you read the review. Justin was still in the early 20s back then and getting his solo career going, not yet the entertainer he is seen as today. Anyway back to the video: Sure the relevance of the contents is somewhat discussable, but completely aside from that it looked very good, one of my favorite rain videos I think. And the tune is truly catchy there is no denying. Even Timbaland did a good job and I am usually not at all into rap music. Then again his impact and part here is minimal. I guess his main focus was on producing. All in all a stylish and pretty atmospheric almost 5 minutes. My favorite from Timberlake, go check it out.
