Another mini series?

Warning: Spoilers
Well, it's great to be back with "Adventure Time" and really, all I've been seeing lately are these lengthy eight part episodes. Anyway, this series features Finn and Jake going back to their house only to find that it's now made of candy. They even go inside and find that all the characters there have turned into pieces of candy too! I admit that they really do show off some creativity with the candy characters. Everyone's turned into ice cream or a gummy worm or gingerbread. It actually is pretty fun to see what everyone turns into.

I especially love the idea of Marceline appearing as a marshmallow. Maybe I just like marshmallow characters. It's revealed that Princess Bubblegum has become part of the actual landscape and is turning everybody into candy. It actually is pretty scary when you really think about it. I hope people don't want to do research on that Dogscape creepypasta. Seriously, I won't elaborate into that. This really is a creative episode and it ends at the right time with Finn and Jake being rescued by the Ice King. Wait, aren't characters like Lemongrab already made of candy? ***1/2

Interesting Direction

After Islands, I was worried how the series would continue, but it turns out I was just being exaggerated, because oh my Glob it's getting even better. This being Episode 2 of Part 1 of a Two-Part of Thirty Episode Final Season, I can already say everybody important will get their moment to shine.

This mini series seems to be concentrating on Ice King and Betty, hopefully to fully flesh out their characters, as well as Peebles, learning to not be a psycopath and kill people, and the 'Elements' Arc with Patience Saint Pim, an underrated character that I wish we'd see more frequently.

SPOILERS: This episode is a strong start, learning that basically everybody is candy now, raising the stakes with nobody being aware of how toxicly positive they are behaving. Hopefully, this is the last part of Bonnie's Multiple-Seasoned Ajrc about 'accepting' others.

PB is one of the most well-rounded characters in AT, she's so nicely done and her development feels natural and logical, unlike other characters, it's really satysfying to see her transformation from a smart but hard sociopath scientist to a likeable and caring friend who tries her best.
