This was an odd way to end the show and for the second straight episode they conclude on an emotional story. Chuck Lorre's other shows have not really gone that route, but I guess now on Netflix and not CBS they want to try something different.
This show needed a purpose in Season 1B, but I don't know if it was this. And strictly from a comedy perspective it wasn't a funny episode either.
