It's hard to believe The Living Years is 35 years old, having been released to much well-deserved fanfare in 1989, and it's quite an emotional song, with life and reflections and all. Mike Rutherford, of Genesis fame, appears in this video along with his son Tom Rutherford, and it kind of reminds me of the sentiments expressed in Bread's Everything I Own, with reflections on the people we love and who we lost, and who we care for and who we miss and all.
