Paul Greenberg's Fish Eating Experiment and Industry Expose Is Interesting
AudioFileZ8 May 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Fish is good for you and me. That isn't controversial. To ease pressure on the natural fish populations and to meet increasing demand at reduced costs fish farming is controversial. Since there are many opposing views regarding how to manage the world's resources of fish it shouldn't be surprising Frontline has tackled this subject. As it turns out the seafood industry involves as many politics as warring nations. With a light touch, often as entertaining as enlightening, author Paul Greenberg looks at fish politics while seeking to improve his own health by exclusively eating a fish based diet. His benefits are questionable due to increased mercury with largely unchanged vitals. Greenberg unapologetically admits his experiment was a bust, meats also have a place with consumption governed by reason not zealotry.
