True life documentary based on the origins of the electronic dance music movement or EDM as its most well known, was born out of the Drum & Bass movement, which began in the early 90's. The documentary gives a true and accurate insight into the rise and development of never been done before movement and allowing people from all backgrounds and cultures coming together as One just for the experience and love of music. This enabled the different style's of to gel together and create and genre of music that would not only survive but thrive and have a massive influence on Grime and the modern EDM scene still to this day.
Drum & Bass developed from the London underground rave scene movement that rapidly spread across the UK, and then throughout the world. The scene had serious issues with violence and drugs that plagued its early growth. The UK Governments reacted by bringing in draconian laws in an attempt to kill off the movement.
But that wasn't going to stop a young man with a vision and a determination to achieve better for him self. Terry "Turbo" gives his behind-the-scenes account of what really went on, away from the the masses of people on the dance floors!
Guns, Drugs, Sex, Knives, Gangs and, of course, the Artists and Performers who, despite all this instilled Drum & Base in the hearts of music forever.
Terry "Turbo" Stone was a working-class kid brought up on a council estate who, in his teens, saw opportunities in this budding scene. Against the odds, He founded "One Nation", a massive club movement. Terry gives exclusive access to Turbo's video archive and, through tell-it-all interviews with him, the artists, and those who provided security at the events and how they become a close net family as well as contributing to the safety and development of the music scene and the impact its having today across the world.
