To Lucas's horror, his ma and Nathan's chicken-taunting force him to partake in the Goossens's family tradition to perform a ridiculous 'musical show' in clown-like outfits at the parish festival free podium competition, which they never win. His actor father Pistone takes over as director, devising an ambitious Harry Potter musical instead, but none of the reconstituted family lives up to his professional expectations, even Lucas ends up agreeing even the original can't be worse.
