I'm sad we didn't get to see this, but I'm excited for House of the Dragon

I love Georgie Henley from Narnia, and the cast here was awesome overall, sad it didn't make it. (Probably for the better)

HBO just give us the Pilot, thanks

WOULD HAVE LOVED TO SEE THIS. Why not an Intelligent GOT Series?

I have to say that I am really disappointed that this series was cancelled and that the Pilot was even made available to be seen. I believe this would have been an INCREDIBLY Interesting Game of Thrones series to watch and to see Westeros during the Long Night.

The differences of having all of the 7 Kingdoms portrayed and absolute desolation of the Land would be amazing.

So incredibly disappointed..

..that this prequel was canned. The Long Night, are you kidding me?? I would have LOVED to see that. Gorgeous primordial scenery, White Walkers, the Children, ice spiders, maybe the inception of the wall etc - so much incredible material to work with. :(

Unfortunate

I was so much more excited about seeing more of The White Walkers and the Children of the forest, rather than some political squabbling between The Targaryen siblings. I really wish they would not let go of this prequel forever.

Awesome Cancellation! Prequels are never a good idea. They always turn out bad or decent at best.

Hasn't the public or hollywood figured out that prequels are a bad idea that never works. The problem with prequels is the shows ceiling is already known beforehand, which is insanely limiting for writing as well as entertainment. The type of entertainment that a prequel is limited too is coming up with familiarity moments that reference the show that it's prequiling... this may have seemed fun in theory the first time any of us experienced a prequel, but now that we have, it ends up being not only not being fun, but a bit cheesy as well. Why begin a show with a ceiling when you can begin a show with infinite potential. When you make a prequel the highest you can set the bar is about a 7 (on an otherwise scale of 1 to 10) and that's if the show is perfect and does everything right.
