This is the second film in the "I Never" trilogy, and is loosely based on Lafcadio Hearn's "Of A Promise Broken." Coincidentally, Louisiana-based filmmaker Christian Walker directed a film based on the same story which was featured in the anthology "Creepers." As it turns out, Walker has family who lives in Medford, OR, just one town over from Talent, OR where this movie was filmed.
The scene with the paramedics was shot months after the rest of the film, in an effort to give the character of Kim (Aleah Zimmer) a stronger and more interesting first scene in the film (which is why everyone's hair is different.)
When Kim gets out of bed to see Jenny attacking her with a sword, the lights flicker. That was actually the result of a heated debate about whether or not the lights should be on or off for that scene. Connor Chaney (Sean) was standing near the light switch and started flicking them on and off, and everyone liked the effect.
The "bar" where Matt meets Hannah was actually the headquarters of a motorcycle club called "The Danger House." All of the decorations (the snake in the jar, etc.) belonged to then-owner Corvus Woolf, who has a small role as one of the actors auditioning for the western pilot.
The vest with the coyote's head coming out of the back that the Bartender wears belongs to William Hallows, who played one of the auditioning actors in that scene. The same vest is worn by Hallows in the viking-themed music video for "Down" (A video that also features Mig Windows, Aleah Zimmer, and Jon Cates from this film.)
