A Heartwarming movie for the holidays
manikz30 December 2018
Just finished watching it on Amazon prime India. It's a really honest movie which reinforces many stereotypes, but it's refreshing nonetheless. I wish they had some more depth in the different characters, would have loved to get to know the characters a little more. Felt like some sub-plots were left hanging without a logical end. Some good dialogues in here and the way some scenes turned out were really unexpected. Overall the movie is laser focused on the main character Shree. A bit sombre but still, very enjoyable to watch

this venture needs your support

#Shreelancer is the story of Shree, a freelancer, who works out of cafes n trains. He is always hooked onto the internet n forever lives in the virtual world. On a road trip which goes wrong, he connects with reality n realises the beauty of the real n natural world. #ArjunRadhakrishnan is perfectly cast as Shree n he puts in a believable performance. The music is decent n the short running time ensures that u don't lose interest in the proceedings. There r very limited shows in Mumbai n hence this venture needs your support. Go for it. Rating 3/5.

Molecule Review: Shreelancer (7 Stars)
nairtejas5 October 2019
As a freelancer myself I could relate very well with Shreelancer where a freelancing copywriter in his mid-20s experiences a crisis after he travels for the first time out of his hometown that ends up changing his lifestyle as well as the decisions he takes later in life. More than anything, this drama is inspirational, showing what sticking to one's skills and plans can do in life. Lead actor Arjun Radhakrishnan excels in his performance as this ignorant writer who has never seen himself as an artist who plays with words but rather as a mere contractor who works for others and then fails to get payments from them. The little peculiar things that freelancers face in the real world - whether it is about payment or numerous edits or about creativity - are spot-on in Shreelancer. Radhakrishnan's air throughout the film is splendid, giving enough idea about freelancers and the way they behave, as far as my experience is concerned. Although the film goes haywire in the middle as Arjun lands somewhere outside Delhi, and needed some polishing as far as editing and camera work are concerned, it soon picks up, ending with a note that will only compel you to follow your dreams and just make more memories while you're alive. I love how the film also advocates tourism in India as opposed to foreign travel. An extra star for that. TN.

Great movie to watch
tusharpatel-2975921 April 2023
This is great movie to watch. This is story of freelancer who do not like to work from office. The idea of the movie is to live a life rather then doing normal life. His perspectiive of life change after the some incident.

This is must watch movie for the all the new.

A bland movie
OnjiMooteDaMarle16 December 2019
A good looking lead actor. A simple daily life struggle, nothing much. It related to me a lot with the writing front but then this film went on to have a misadventure. But the music was wonderful and took me into a trans. It is SO MUCH similar to the music of the Hindi film, 'Karwaan'. Some moments were 'haha' funny. The film begins with a simple personal but very understandable conflict, goes on to have an adventure where excluding the very moments, the bits of 'misadventure' actually doesn't contribute to the entirety of the film. The later part is the enlightenment part that is slow but gradual. A warm film but it isn't everyone's cup of tea though.

Chronology of a torn heart!!
Arko_S9 December 2018
Was able to catch it on Prime (obviously gems like these are not available on our local jewellery shops, read :cinemas) . Started with moderate expectation, but the build up was quite apt & suits in the portrayal of our generation & the way , they are always torn between their own pursuit of happiness & the societal definition of the pursuit. The fragility of a freelancer belief or rather self-belief is depicted superbly by Arjun Radhakrishnan. The screenplay encompassing different geographies of India , their culture , their dialects & nuances were shown in a very suave manner, thumbs up to Sandeep Mohan for that. The moments between a typical middle class father & his "artsy" confused son were very realistic & true in nature. Give this a shot, trust me , by the end it will leave you with a smile & peace for a while.

Movie could have been better
sauravjoshi8512 January 2019
This movie was a little below from ok. Apart from protagonist and his father the acting is below average. There is lots of unnecessary twists and turns in the movie. The movie turns boring in between and move ahead like a headless chicken. Till the movie reaches its climax the viewer is all set to loose their patience with very slow pace. Overall not a worthy to be watched.

Authentic, heartwarming, independent in letter and spirit
nalinikala16 January 2023
Shreepad (lead) takes us through his life's moments, the emotions that he navigates through and some fresh new experiences that totally change his outlook...whether masti with friends or danger in unknown lands, he goes through a rollercoaster ride that ends up making him see life differently...

It also reminds me about the power of travelling in opening up one's mind, do I hear the hills and the river caling?!

The music is fresh and lifts up the mood.

Highly recommend watching Shreelancer by clearing some mental space to enjoy this genuine story with some laughs along the way. I had a great time watching it!
