The scene in the Chinese Restaurant was completely fictional, but was added to show how both Olivier Guimond and Denis Drouin completed themselves in their shows.
A lot of Labatt 50 beer bottles were seen as well as ads for product placement. Labatt was co-sponsor of the show, and did put Mr.Guimond on contract in the mid-60s, with TV ads directed by Gilles Carle, which were extremely popular and boosted the sales of "Labatt 50" ale for this era.
