I actually just saw this film based on word of mouth - and even then it was hard to dig up. Based on the limited marketing, I assume the film doesn't have a huge budget, but for that same reason, Leatherdaddy feels like something from that independent 90s era of filmmaking.
The film took some unexpected turns here and there, some for the better some for the worse, but all in all it was refreshing to see something genuinely different.
For those who want to see a big budget, 2000s party movie then this probably isn't the film for you, but if you are one to enjoy the hang-out style films from the 90s then I'd say its worth a watch.
