"After receiving Nandi Award for Best Actor in the film Mestri, Darsakaratna Dasari Narayana Rao is back with his latest film "Erra Bus", who played an important role along with the Direction of the film.
The family values, relationship and the strong bond between Grandfather and Grandson have shown in an excellent way. Dasari Narayan Rao and Manchu Vishnu are the main pillars of the film.
Dasari performed very well as an old man from a rustic background. As usual, Manchu Vishnu delivered his best performance with good timing, danced with grace and acted well in the emotion sequences. The gorgeous Catherine Tresa really mesmerized the audience with her role in the film. She deserves lots of appreciation. The romantic scenes between Vishnu and Catherine Tresa as well as Dasari's comedy scenes in the first half are the main highlights of the film. However, some sentimental scenes and Brahmanandam's comedy are very entertaining in the second half. The story is quite good and is not predictable most of the times. The dialogues were written very well and bring a lot of depth to the movie. Chakri provided good music for the movie. Production values of the film are quite good and showcase the film in a rich light. Along with sentiment, comedy quotient is also present in the movie. The film gets appreciated by all the audience in general and the family audience in particular. A one-time family entertainer. "

'Erra Bus' is the term usually used to describe the villagers who have little knowledge about the city life. Hence, A title like this for the concept chosen makes sense. The film is based on the relationship between a Grandfather and Grandson. It also highlights the isolated life and insensitive attitude of city dwellers. Dasari: This veteran plays an author-backed role but all his attempts to evoke laughter with his antics look artificial (Ex: Mistakes an Apple Mac Book for a bread toaster and tries to make a Sandwich). He, however, leaves a good impact in the penultimate scenes with his acting prowess. Manchu Vishnu: He seems to be maturing as an actor with each film. After 'Rowdy' and 'Anukshanam', Our Manchu Boy delivers yet another noteworthy performance. Catherine Thresa is fine as Vishnu's love interest. Krishnudu as Vishnu's Close Buddy does a decent job.

Legendary director Dasari Narayana Rao, who is best known for his family dramas makes his comeback with 'Erra Bus'. This flick also features Vishnu Manchu and Catherine Teresa in other important roles. Produced by Dasari himself, this film has hit the screens in the year. On the whole, 'Erra Bus' is an out and out Dasari film all the way. He is ably supported by Vishnu's memorable performance and the emotional climax only adds to the set up.

"The film narrates the story of a youngster, who wants to go to the US, but before he realizes his life spirals out of control when he brings his grandfather from the village to spend time with him. Erra Bus is about Rajesh, played by Vishnu Manchu, who wants to settle down in the US, but before he leaves, he brings his 75-year- old grandfather, Narayana Swamy (Dasari Narayana Rao) from the village to spend some time with him in Hyderabad. And co- incidentally, Rajesh begins facing one problem after another because of his grandfather, who is clueless about the life in a city. But Rajesh loves his grandfather and does nothing to set things right and that does not go down well with his lady love, Raji (Catherine), who wants the grandfather out of their lives. The movie is an attempt to show the innocence of villagers and their good qualities and at the same time the selfish behavior of people who live in the city."

"First of all, when we hear the word "Errabus" we would have thought it's a village based film with traditional drama. Manchu Vishnu as Ragesh, a small town boy raised solely by his gr-amps Narayana Rao (Dasari Narayana Rao). Rajesh with a singular desire of settling down in USA and in the brief time, he created the opportunity and working towards achieving goal. Where as Rajji (Catherine Tresa) slightly deflects the obedient professional early on in the film, who was found by Ragesh as lover in a casual scene at the traffic signal. Ragesh is now selected to go to USA in three months time and he brings his Gramps to the city to spend quality time before he leaves. The rest of the film is how the old man with a heart of gold creates havoc and nuisance in the life of Ragesh, residents of the residential apartments and even in the American consulate. Performance wise, Dashakaratna Dasari Narayana Rao and Vishnu is very good in the title role. Emotions between the characters are good in the film.Screen play and Background score are very good. "
