2 Worlds Collide

Warning: Spoilers
Series 2 of the yank Dirk Gently Multiverse sees 2 distinctly different Universes, the 'Real' and the 'Imaginary' cross over unto each other.

In the allegedly 'Real World' the Bergsberg Old Bill, which originally comprised 2 actual officers, 1 Sheriff and Tyler Labine is Sherlock Hobbs, with 1 Deputy and Izzie Steele simply personifies Tina Tevetino.

Now that's what I call a police force one that fits so naturally within its local community, with just the right degree of attention to seeing things as they really are, and not what what some bureaucrat deems as essential.

Bart Curlish drops into well what, report herself for what's happened to her and "I'm getting better" well she certainly is in not actually killing Suzie Boreton.

The Central Intelligence Agency Unit under its new leader Sergeant Hugo Friedkin, has somehow morphed into his predecessor, and although he still can't be asked to actually read anything remotely official.

He is at least realising that he simply can't cope on his tod, he calls in the Mr Priest as his replacement gung-ho alter ego, and recruited Ken as his Tech Guy.

Amanda Brotzman an Vogel become trapped by the new Black Wing Task Force, but somehow manage to confound their efforts.

Is Dirk Gently the self styled Holistic Detective finally losing it, has he finally given up any ghost of a plot?

A pink haired character calling himself Panto Trost, has mysteriously popped unto the Bergsberg Sheriff's Office, with his tale of Wendamore that most surely emanate more, from some fairy story than what supposedly resembles reality?

Yep, it's getting very strange. Some aspects are completely different from season 1, yet some of the characters appear to have swapped mannerisms. This season is a lot more of a "who done it" mystery thriller, but still contains so really good laughs.
