When director Karl-Martin Pold and his team tried to meet Bud Spencer during the development an audience with the pope seemed to be easier to get. His secretary Miss Nelly, over 80 years old, neither spoke any English nor did have an email-address. Via fax and telephone the crew tried their luck but found Miss Nelly a hard nut to crack. "She lied at us pretending that Spencer wouldn't be at the office, but we heard him talking in the back", said Pold.
Then the Austrian director drove to Bud's office in Rome: "When Miss Nelly heard that we don't have an appointment she wanted to throw us out." But then Bud Spencer intervened: "What do they want? Let them come in!"
