Perhaps the worst series ever concocted over at Girlfriends Films, "The Creepers Family" had long since lost its way by the time of this fifth volume, loaded with dull verbal references (plus an introductory montage of recap footage) to remind the viewer what the premise is. We basically have a dysfunctional family led by Zoey Holloway (while hubby Claudio is away in Europe) dealing with her black sheep ex-model sister Angela Sommers.
Sommers likes to spread rumors and bad mouth everyone, but her improv dialog is tiresome and unconvincing, generally leaving the other actresses bewildered, as if they were flunking some test of reactions in a Comedy Class. As usual, the label's top contract player Prinzzess gets the most footage, but her scenes with doyenne Veronica Snow and Sommers are perfunctory.
Unlike Girlfriends' hit open-ended (and very inclusive) hit series like "Women Seeking Women" and "Lesbian Seductions", "Creepers" is so specifically centered on Zoey's brood that it is highly unlikely it will ever be revived.
