The episode was shown on Schemer Presents: The World According To Me! VHS.
The Velcro shoes that Schemer demonstrates are the exact same shoes that he previously wore in Yabba, Yabba, Yabba (1991). However, at the time, they had regular laces instead of the Velcro straps. This is because these shoes were never meant to be Velcro shoes. They are a pair of black and white wingtip Oxford lace-up dress shoes. Also, the Velcro straps are not real. They are made of paper, which is why Schemer breaks them so easily when trying to fasten them on correctly. The shoes appear to strikingly resemble a pair of Antonio Cerelli 6656 men's black and white Check Fashion Spectator Oxford dress shoes, given the fact that there is one very thick stripe extending down from the laces to the heels on each side, the saddles are separated, and there is no black coat around the mouth. But they have slightly higher heels that are dark brown, which is only available on 1930's-era Freedom Circa Full Brogue wingtip men's Oxford Spectator dress shoes. However, they have trim around the edges of the toe and heel coats and four lace rows, making them nearly identical to men's Ferro Aldo black and white wingtip Oxford Lace-Up dress shoes, or Stacy Adams men's Melville wingtip Oxford black and white Lea dress shoes for the same reasons and also that the inside is black. And yet, they also seem to look like a pair of Bolano men's Classic two-tone white and black smooth wingtip Oxford Spectator dress shoes, due to them having much more identical trim around the toe and heel coats and a smooth surface. Finally, they have metal eyelets on them, which doesn't appear on any of these shoes. There's a possibility that they were customized to be a hybrid of all of these.
