Making Movies with Jeff Burr (2014)

If you're a fan of PUMPKINHEAD II then you're going to love this sixty-two (yes, 62-minutes) minute documentary that covers the entire production of that film. Look, if you're a fan of the film then you're going to love this. There's no question that Burr is a very entertaining and interesting guy who manages to make anything interesting. I've seen quite a few featurettes with him and they're always fun to listen to. With that said, I'm really not sure we needed a sixty-two minute discussion on PUMPKINHEAD II. Still, there's a lot of entertainment to be had here including the various stories dealing with the pre-production of the film. Burr is never shy about his opinions and he admits up front that he knew there were issues going into the production and that what they had to work with was never going to result in a great picture. There are some terrific stories told about the effects used in the film as well as countless stories about various issues that came up.
