- The story revolves around a rape of a woman while 20 or so black teens were out in a park. The police manipulate them into getting one another arrested. These teens were very young and when a 14 year old's sister walks in he cries that he doesn't want to be there.
- There are a handful of scenes of police brutality involving young kids. Two scenes stand out where a small teen is tackled by a grown man and hit with a ballistic helmet. The other scene is where Korey is being interrogated and the detective hits multiple times and pins him to a wall. The detectives use this manipulation to get him to make up a story about the rape. This tactic is used on all the kids.
