While I liked the basis of the episode, it's so full off errors, it's incredible, guns that have silver painted muzzles and breaches, no way in a trench, the British army using american rifles, the German army using British enfields, who made this? No mans land with trees. Pretty bad for a major series.

I shouldn't be surprised, since this is a network that teamed up with a jackass like Howard Zinn. First of all, they seem to have gone to great lengths to show Woodrow Wilson in a good light. I wonder if his party affiliation has anything to do with this. They seem to blame everyone but him for the awful Treaty of Versailles. They also fail to mention that Wilson promised Americans that the U.S. would not enter the war, and then changed his tune a month after his inauguration. He was also inaugurated 2 YEARS after the sinking of the Lusitania. The majority of Americans did NOT support entering this war. In fact, they country felt they had been lied to because he promised not to get involved before the election. Do some real research into Woodrow Wilson and he was one of the worst presidents in the country's history. It's a shame this series is filled with so many inaccuracies. I like the way it is presented, just not the b.s. Sadly many will watch this and take it as fact. It simply isn't.
