Huracán, a beautiful film with amazing cinematography amazing performances by the actors and actresses BUT, for a movie that focuses on mental illness they get a lot wrong about dissociative identity disorder or as they wrongly call it "multiple personality disorder". with that being said I still can't help but fall in love with this movie. this is Cassius corrigan First seat at the director's chair in a feature film and he is incredible at it, it has performances that brings you to tears, even small details like the vignette of the camera and unstableness in the camera when the main characters emotions are unstable is magnificent. Wow such a good watch!! The cast is amazing and really makes you invested! New comer Camila Rodriguez was so intense and amazing to watch. She will do big things after this! In the era of improved mental health care awareness, this is a timely watch.

My wife and I watched it twice so far. It is a great film. Original to say the least. Cassius' performances are impeccable. The story is easy to follow and the fight scenes are very realistic. The scenes with the therapist utilizing new technology methods are hair raising. We all know people who fight in a cage have to be a bit crazy, but this story takes it to a new level of madness. Crazy Good! Loved it!

This was a rollercoaster from the start. Huracán has you second guessing its velocity consistently. The pacing undulates perfectly as you become more and more concerned with the main character whom is carried by a brilliant actor. I'm so happy I stumbled across this gem and it is the first MMA flick on HBO.
