A few funny scenes, but the writing was inconsistent. I liked the young actors, they have potential. It was obviously full of British actors, don't know why some used American accents. If only it had a better script.

Without Schmae (Jude Schedden) this would be a barely noticeable movie. Good acting and likeable (albeit annoying) characters all around, but the little guy steals the show. Unfortunately the plot is a letdown and the ending is just... meh.

Where to go when you are on vacation .. actually when you are there with the person you are supposedly in love with ... but neither she nor you know for sure? Well at least you'll have the views to talk about ... not just the topical ones, but also the local ones ... I am talking about other human beings and I am using them for a joke. Forgive the puns if you can.

But believe me, the movie does not deserve better jokes - quality or other-wise. You may even think that my joke was too good for the movie at hand. There is definitely way more talking than you may be able to withstand. But the beautiful people do their best ... to help you enjoy what is being served.

I can't agree with the low star rating shown on this page. This was a lighthearted memory jog of carefree days which I found thoroughly enjoyable.

I guess Amazon decided not to weight reviews over two second ratings. If 33 reviews were used it would be higher than 8. Realistically the movie isn't that epic, but it has some strange edgey moments, but the part that stands out the most is how pretty the movie is. It's shot on some very nice digital, and it appears around Terracina and Rome's surrounding areas. There are a lot of elements thrown in, probably more tight shots than are needed, as well as short one andtwo second sequences, that are personally way too much for me.

The actors are good and mainly new. Everyone who worked on this movie should be very proud. Had the story involved no sparse narrator or last line, no fourth wall break, with more character and complex story development, it's likely to have been more on the epic side.

Visually and auditorily it takes chances, story wise it would have made a short story of interest.

The movie is very good looking.

The movie was so charming - and really brought me to some nostalgic vacation moments.

Reminds me of a time when movies were fun to watch! Cute little movie that doesn't take itself too seriously. I loved the humor and the picturesque setting. A great break from our current reality.

This is one of the best movies I have watched this year.

Loved the location in this movie, the fast paced humour. So nice to be taken to a stunning location during lockdown, escapism with a giggle along the way. Reminder of what is was to be a teen. Schmae your hilarious, 👏🏻 bravo!

Beautiful scenery alongside a great group of actors making their debut in some cases brought together to make a light romantic comedy, with fantastic film techniques, as they all should be.

Beautiful vistas, unique characters and unforgettable characters! I was expecting a silly trip about kids partying and ended up with so much more!

Great film that brings you right into the hearts of teenage love. The story follows the trials and tribulations of teens caught up in the fairytale of love, set in beautiful Italy. Awesome cast with some really hilarious cameos. Beautifully done set and makes you in the mood for an aperol spritz! Definitely a feel good romcom, lighthearted and easy to watch. Will be recommending to friends for movie nights looking to get away from their living room and relive the ecstasy of first love

Absolutely loved this movie!! Such a funny feel good movie perfect escapism. Beautiful scenery and wonderfully shot. Great casting and performances especially loved Schmae! Makes me want to go to Italy right now.

The movie's locations in Italy make the film a perfect weekend escape. Although a comedy - the narration makes the film much more than a high school comedy.

The fast paced humour at the beginning of the film sets the tone perfectly and it shows very clever directing.

While the plot on the surface may seem shallow at times, the metaphors, flashbacks, and in particular the strong narration allows the audience to realize it's not simply about teens hooking up and getting drunk in Italy - it's about the lightheartedness of youth, the memories from our past we may have forgotten, and how quickly it can disappear. The amateur cast make it all that much better - making the movie silly, awkward, and uncomfortable at times, just as we all once were. In the end, an unforgettable vacation - a get away for the audience - with a beautiful backdrop in Italy - make this film a 10/10.

Refreshing comedy on the Italian coast with some definite priceless moments!
