Interesting ending episode, I wanted a little bit stronger one. It was predictable what will happen at the ending so it wasn't something WOW. To sum up, whole season wasn't as strong as I wanted it to be but it's new TV series so it's need time to find what audience want. Whole season rating would be about the same as this episode 7/10.

Dreamland Falls

An ominous title, right?

"Yes mom, it's, it's me. I grew. Mostly my teeth."

"Stop poking the royal tit, dear."

Why can't a King have as many wives as he wants?

Bye Elfo.

Bye again, Elfo.

Interesting finale

Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers.

The tenth episode of the first season of Disenchantment is entitled "Dreamland Falls". The episode is the finale to the first part of the first season of Disenchantment. Queen Dagmar is reintroduced to the kingdom but not all is as it seems.

Dreamland Falls is a link to the story arc of Dagmar's poisoning. The episode has the revelation that Dagmar attempted to poison Zog. The episode's primary draw is this revelation. The revelation itself is interesting and Princess Bean's reaction is fun to watch. The episode is more light on the humor and more into the overall story of Disenchantment.

Grade: B

Disenchantment Season One Part One

Disenchantment is an adult animated fantasy situational comedy television series. The series is created by Matt Groening whose previous works include The Simpsons and Futurama. The series features the voices of Abbi Jacobson, Eric Andre, Nat Faxon, and John DiMaggio. The series is about a princess, elf, and demon that go on adventures together.

Disenchantment is the spiritual successor to Futurama. Anyone that is familiar with Matt Groening's Futurama will find many things similar here. The animation, drawing, and humor styles are all similar to Futurama. Even John DiMaggio who voices Futurama's Bender, voices King Zog in Disenchantment. This similarity to Futurama is a good thing. The hilarious insanity from Futurama is here but in a fantasy setting.

The first season is composed of ten episodes that primarily setup the world of Disenchantment. The first episode does this well by introducing Princess Bean, Luci, and Elfo, Most of the adventures in the season take place in the dreamland where Bean is the princess. These adventures are fun to watch but follow the same formula of Princess Tiabeanie getting drunk and causing trouble for the episodes side characters. Most of the episodes follow this formula except for the last few episodes that are more plot centric.

Overall the first part of the first season of Disenchantment is fun but those expecting a worthy follow-up to Futurama may want to wait.

Warning: Spoilers
Queen Dagmar and Tiabeanie have a wonderful time together and have many similarities. Dagmar and Bean go to the bar where Dagmar knows everyone and looks cool.

Luci shows the king the truth using the crystal ball. It was Dagmar who put the poison into the wine glass.

She uses a potion to let loose a purple wave to turn everyone to stone. The king is one of the only ones left not turned to stone.

Dagmar pushes her daughter off the ledge and jumps after her. They plop in the water and swim to a ship with strange looking creatures.

Netflix is throwing huge sums of money for marginal show

I've watched the Simpsons since The Tracy Ullman show and have watched every episode of Futurama at least twice.

I can't believe this series uses the same talent. The show just isn't funny. Go elsewhere for laughs.

Didn't laugh once

This ain't no Futurama, that's for sure. Didn't laugh once in this entire episode.

Also, this episode features a very large 'plot twist', which I spotted coming a mile away! It honestly made the entire episode unbearable to watch, because I could tell very early on exactly what was going to happen, and when it did, I just sighed. So predictable (and they spent 20minutes building towards it).
