Quickly became a waste of time
dahotnessk10 January 2022
I use to enjoy this show and when they used something reliable like the lie detector to interrogate the subjects it was believable.

The show lost credibility for me when there was a case where the lady thought her husband was cheating with the neighbor. He was questioned by a speech pathologist who "interrogated the taliban" as she kept stating, (as if this was to give her any credibility). She went as far as to state how the man over explained everything, which is typical of a liar, but then thought he was telling the truth because he was able to make everything make sense to her. This is typical of a manipulator btw. So she comes to the conclusion that he wasn't cheating.

They do a follow up, and would you believe it, as soon as he got home he was caught with the neighbor again! At that point I was done with this show. Such foolishness.

Great Judges, But
Glamourisgone7 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I like the concept of the show and the married judges are very likable. Of course, this is scripted - because; how can so many couples accusing each other of cheating find so many items - underwear, jewelry, etc.. in their homes and cars? Yeah, right and when they find to be not cheating, whose items are they really???? This is practically every episode!! To the writers: get a new jig. Also, stop trying to entice the audience to continue watching when there is a commercial by showing exaggerated facial reactions that don't match the answers when you return! Not going to help hold an audience. You act like it's the end of the World that we need to stay tuned.

A Disappointment
katiescarletohara-8881814 November 2017
I find the Cutler's who are attorneys,as far as I understand Not Judges,to be ethically sound for the unethical issues of the show. The Cutler's attempt to briefly counsel their guests regarding their many misjudgements and immediately stage left to the PI. The guest are never Caucasian,or Asian or Latino? Why?Very predjudicial!!!!! The guests do not speak proper English.

Very offensive on a National show. Thank You.

Absolutely dreadful. Using lie detectors and every other unreliable methods (including the attorneys, not judges, offensive comments). If I could rate it -10, I would.

Voice analysis being fake
aubrellastallworth1 March 2022
I feel that you need to get ri of the lady with the voice anelizing, because she doesn't know what she's talking about she's not a fortune teller and most of her predictions of voice turns out to be right because the men end up cheating again after the woman forgives them. And I feel that the lie detection works better and you need the man that does the voice analysis on the machine.

Scripted Nonsense
myronlearn27 December 2021
This is probably the worst of the reality shows ('Family Chantel' a close second'). I can't believe these two married jurists are a part of such obviously contrived nonsense. The Cutlers must really need the money! All the litigants are actors and bad ones at that. The script is written by amateurs. Even the polygraph folks aren't credible. Judge Judy, you have nothing to worry about.

Great Comic Relief!
gaspertheevilghost14 January 2021
I'm not going to talk about the show itself and what it's about as others have and we already know. However I would like to suggest that Couples court with the Cutlers, although serious in nature, truly makes for great comic relief! The show seems to keep it kind of real and yet at the same time the way the two judges play off each other is ! Keith Cutler has a great dry sense of humour while his wife is definitely a bit more colourful! But they certainly do work together and you can see the caring and commitment that they have with each other, and how they try to make that happen for others.. They make a lot of sense and they make for a lot of laughs! They actually make for a good pair of role models.

To the people who are concerned that the Cutner's were not true judges but rather attorneys, who cares? They do a great job as judges. So let it be. Enjoy their great work together regardless!

To the person who feels that this has poor aesthetics because Mrs. Cutler's appearance and that the show is " visually odd-looking, not in a critical way, but in a sense of lacking the label, made for TV.'" How is that critique not in any critical? That's ridiculous! And, pray tell, how does Mrs. Cutler not stand up to made-for-tv, but instead have a radio voice? So she happens to be a little bit overweight, Mrs. Cutler does an awesome job on this show and she certainly is not hard on the eyes.. I do believe that you have a problem with the way she looks in comparison to her actions and the way she maintains her Court, then please consider that a personal problem on your behalf, that you should take up within yourself and think about. Take Care One at all. With all due respect. Stay safe

Poor aesthetics...
because-of-him22 September 2017
First, the judges do a very good job of listening, advising, and decision making. Secondly, there already are more than enough 'court' type shows, including Divorce Court. The major problem with Couples Court With The Cutlers is aesthetic, i.e., how pleasing it is to watch. The adage, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, reigns true here. The judge, Mrs. Cutler, has a face for radio, not TV. As an example, in setting up a courtroom, you do not place a bedroom set in front of the bench, or a bowl for a dog, or a coffee table. Mrs. Cutler is visually odd looking, not in a critical way, but in the sense of lacking the label, 'Made for TV'. Again, she is make for radio (she has a good, authoritative voice). If you look at successful court shows, the best ones are pleasing to the eyes.

Couples court with Cleavland Brown!
dmillman-1931818 February 2022
Love this show. The judges are great together and it's as real as any other court show but with a real married couple giving real insight. I love that judge Keith Cutler looks exactly like the real life Cleavland Brown.

So proud
fxywmypyq3 May 2024
I might be bias, however, I love the show. Keith just happens to be my cousin and I am so proud of them both. They are a phenomenal duo and what you see on the screen is not an act they are truly and always have been a dynamic duo. They are true to their love for each other, and everything you see in their character is really who they are and how they are. No filler what you see is who they are. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion they are like a$$ holes everyone has one. Until you have your own show stop hating and celebrate this couples success. This is not a pot of crabs but an opportunity they were given. And it's my opinion (I told you everyone had one) that they have done darn well with the opportunity they've been granted.

Some clients are a waste of your money
arlenehodgkiss14 May 2023
The judges are an absolute delight, and I love watching them together. The only thing I don't like is when the couples go to the show, they say they're going to leave the other if they're cheating, but end up going back to them anyway. So why even go to the show , your wasting money for somebody else. I don't know why I have to keep writing something. I've already said all that I had to say. I guess it's kind of like the show you have to drag it out for so long. This will probably be my last review because I don't like talking anymore than I have to and if this won't send until I do then I just have to keep talking until I've used it out.

They are super couple consultants because they have like bed the advice they provide to couples.
ednasuper7 March 2024
I look forward to watching every episode. Their experience as a long time married, professional, judge couple, makes this show extremely unique. Not only is the advice personal, professional, and insightful, I can see the Judges passionate connection when providing the couples' advice.

Their experience as marriage counselors is impeccable. Because they have pristine legal legacies as Justices as well as living as a professional couple who have seen a plethora of situations in their lives that they use to provide real life experiences to their litigants.

There is no other place to witness this.
