Holmes and Watson enter the world of rare *antiques* when they investigate a case in which the victim, a widely-disliked gym chain owner, was killed in real life during a Revolutionary War reenactment. He was discovered dead by another reenactor. Holmes grows frustrated with the length of his cognitive recovery, unhappy with the metabolic changes caused by the increased dosage of gabapentin. He is reluctantly considering longer periods of rest than he cares for, even while Watson is supportive of gradually increasing the down time between cases.
