fun out of tragedy
beevenkat19 May 2019
Warning: Spoilers
#KhajoorPeAtke is a film to be enjoyed with family. It creates fun out of tragedy. A man is seriously ill n anything can happen. His siblings arrive at the hospital in mumbai, to provide moral support. But each person has his own selfish agenda. The elders want a share of the ancestral house. The young boys visit a dance bar. A young girl nurtures dreams of entering bollywood. Every character is well etched. Great performances by the entire cast, especially by manoj n seema. The running time should be reduced by 15 minutes. Rating 3/5.

adopted by a marathi movie Ventilator produced by Priyanka Chopra.

This movie is a copy of a marathi movie Ventilator produced by Priyanka Chopra. Ventilator is a superb movie. A copy paste job has to be done seriously.

AVOID - Waste of Money
I wish I had thrown my money than wasting on this movie as I would have saved time. It is a joke of a movie.

Common man's story
krunamin5 November 2018
Really enjoyed the movie. It shows a middle class common man's family and their dilemma when one of the family members is on ventilator support. The story is like one of those RK Laxman stories.

One-Line Review: Khajoor Pe Atke (3 Stars)
nairtejas29 October 2018
There is some comic relief in Harsh Chhaya's comedy drama Khajoor Pe Atke (Got Caught in the Bushes) which tries to mock the serious issue of death by bringing members of a huge family together to mirror the opportunistic nature of human beings even in times of death and despair but ends up being a tone-deaf escapade that has all the social elements and cliches that we are currently trying to eradicate. TN.

Black Comedy
shivdroid5 August 2018
It's a black comedy based on reality. All the actors have done a brilliant job. Of course the direction has some flaws, but otherwise brilliantly directed by Harsh Chhaya.
