Lots to love on this episode. Since it's their midseason finale, they have to pack a lot of action, drama and intensity. I like how Clary and Simon teamed up to defeat Lilith but I didn't like how easily Lilith fell for it, which would suggest she's not as smart as she should be, for a being of her magnitude. I also have to say that while the special effects are really super sharp and detailed on select episodes this season, the special effects on this episode is just subpar, like with the creatures and the explosion, it was not impressive at all.
