Sex & Nudity

  • No nudity. Some crushes.
  • A couple characters cross-dress
  • A characters fantasizes about themself and another character. These dreams however never get graphic
  • Some characters ask a female robot what color her underwear is.
  • In a comical scene, a man reluctantly performs CPR on another man, though it is not shown.
  • The series takes place in all male prison, thus there is some flirting between men, but these are for comical purposes and are not part of the main plot.
  • The few female characters have noticeably large breasts. One displays a large amount of cleavage, but she only appears in one episode.

Violence & Gore

  • Lots of blood during fight scenes in the show when it gets serious
  • A character brutally beats another, even after his victim is supposedly unconscious. He coughs up blood all over the other's face.
  • In a flashback, a man holds up another man's bloody, injured body. Another man asks if he is alive and the first proceeds to twist his victim's arm while he screams in pain. He then throws him to the ground and crushes him while he continues to cry out. He lives.
  • Combat with guns, swords, fists, magical powers, and various other weapons, accompanied by little to large amounts of blood.
  • One character crushes another's nose with his foot, causing it to bleed vigorously.

Profanity

  • A few occurrences of middle finger gestures, but these are always pixelated.
  • A character sometimes references other anime and this is censored so he may sound like he is swearing when he is not.
  • At a couple instances some characters talk streams of foul language, but it is all censored and meant to be comical.
  • Uses of damn, hell, bastard, ass, and shit.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • An herbalist makes drugs and poisons.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A character goes berserk. His eyes turn red and his arms turn into giant blades. This scene can be disturbing for younger viewers
  • A sadistic character pins another two ground with a knife through his hand. He then draws a dotted line over his face with a marker before taking to it with a saw while his victim struggles frantically beneath him. He is thrown off before he's able to cut very far.
  • A man has his organs surgically removed, though it is not shown save for the long, resulting scar on his body.
  • In a flashback, a guard kills an inmate, though it is silhouetted.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A character is described as being a 'druggie' and regularly has to take his 'medicine'. If he fails to take it, he becomes insane and vicious.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Some characters are the victims of human experimentation, but these scenes are mostly portrayed in flashbacks. Nevertheless, they are still brutal and frightening.
  • Certain characters are controlled with magical talismans and they lose their self-awareness, becoming weapons for their master and hurting even their friends.
