The dialogues used by the thugs (at Chappara) towards Roshan and Gadha in the climax of this film also created massive contradictions to what happened previously in the film. A thug (in the climax) mentions that several people come at this location to talk which indicates that the thug was at this location before and the same thug also asks Roshan and Gadha what they are doing there. We also see the main thug (played by Venu OV) asking Gadha and Roshan why are they at that location (Chappara) instead of going directly to home after leaving school. The dialogues in these scenes completely contradict with what happened before due to the fact that this was the same location chosen by the school "recently" for the students to conduct NSS camp activities and the schools will only take the students to the locations (as part of NSS Camp) as long as those locations are considered "perfectly safe" for the students. The film clearly shows the students (both boys and girls) conducting NSS camp activities at this location without any problem and with complete freedom. The film also shows NSS flag lifted on a pole in the same location and there was also a tent and a banner established as part of NSS camp activities. These are the reasons why the presence of the thugs at this location is considered as absolutely implausible.
The first climax of this film was also criticized by pointing out the fact that the characters (the friends of Roshan and Gadha) who had every possibility of appearing where Roshan and Gadha are disappear while the thugs who had no possibility of appearing where Roshan and Gadha are appear.
The first climax of this film is completely disconnected to what happened in the previous scenes of the films. Along with other flaws of the first climax, another flaw in the first climax has to do with the amount of "wait time" the friends of Roshan and Gadha take so that Roshan can propose Gadha. Gadha agrees that she will come along with Roshan and their friends to the location of Chappara. When they come near to the exact location, the friends stop their vehicles and Gadha (through her hand) asks them why they are stopping. Manavaalan gives a reply (through his hand) that they have to take "an urgent short break" before they reach the exact location and gives the hand indication to Roshan and Gadha to go forward. So the friends send Roshan and Gadha alone so that Roshan can get "some time" in order to propose Gadha while the friends "waited" for them and celebrated. The friends were going to meet with Roshan and Gadha after Roshan proposed Gadha during "the short period of time" given to Roshan by the friends. But even after long period of time (even after the rain with thunder and lightning is over) in the first climax, the friends of Roshan and Gadha (who are nearby) are nowhere to be found. It must be noted that both Roshan's and Gadha's friend Francis J. Manavaalan (played by Siyadh Shajahan) is a character with hasty attitude and would have immediately reached (along with other friends) where Roshan and Gadha are as a result of rain with thunder and lightning. This error in the first climax is fixed in the second climax where Mathew, Manavaalan, and other friends of Roshan and Gadha reach where Roshan and Gadha are and rush to save them by attacking and defeating the thugs.
The heavy rain (with thunder and lightning) was applied in the first climax (now discarded climax) by the director Omar and the film crew so that the ground can get completely wet. This was done so that Noorin Shereef (who played Gadha John) won't get hurt on the ground while being dragged away from Roshan. But this also raised criticisms due to the fact that the friends (who are nearby) don't come at all to the location (where Roshan and Gadha are) in the first climax despite the fact that it was heavily raining (with thunder and lightning). Even after the heavy rain (with thunder and lightning) was over, the friends are nowhere to be found in the first climax. The friends knew that Roshan and Gadha didn't have umbrella or anything to conceal themselves from rain. This criticism was fixed in the second climax (current climax of this film) where the friends come and save Roshan and Gadha from the thugs as a result of the heavy rain (with lightning).
In the climax (at Chappara), the dialogues by the thugs to Gadha and Roshan indicate that trouble makers hang around and cause trouble at that location. This created complete contradiction since NSS Camp activities (Government Sponsored Program) were recently conducted by the schools at that same location. On the top of that, the school (under the approval from the Government) had control over that location. That is why the film shows the students planting tree saplings under the supervision of the instructor Sneha (played by Roshna Ann Roy). While planting tree saplings, it is necessary to come to that location repeatedly and focus on the growth of tree saplings and also put materials required for the growth of the tree saplings.
Although the appearance of the thugs in front of Gadha and Roshan at the end was supposed to be a coincidence, still it was "shown" to the audience as if the thugs were expecting them at that location (For example, their sudden appearance in front of Roshan and Gadha with the breaking of the bottle). The thugs suddenly appear out of nowhere "at the exact time" and "at the exact location" where Roshan and Gadha are. This led to Roshan and Gadha being immediately surrounded by the thugs which led to the tragic ending in the first climax (now discarded climax). This was strongly criticized by the critics and the audience due to the fact that there was no possibility of the thugs knowing the fact that Roshan and Gadha were coming to that location. The decision to go to that location with Gadha was made both "suddenly" and "privately" by Roshan and his friends.
Another problem of the first climax aka discarded climax (also seen in the second climax aka current climax) noted by the reviewers is the amount of time Roshan and Gadha wait (instead of running to safety) till the thugs descend to them from the top of the rock. Another problem with this scene is both characters possess cell phones and they don't use their cell phones immediately to call their friends for help. Instead of calling through cell phone for help and making an immediate attempt to escape, Roshan and Gadha wait for a while till the thugs descend to them from the top of the rock.
In this film, Gadha (played by Noorin Shereef) is portrayed as both wise and cautious girl who helps her friends (Roshan, Francis J. Manavalan, and others) by giving clever advices whenever there is a problem. Gadha is also capable of smelling danger and makes clever moves in order to avoid the danger (For example, Gadha saving Roshan from the bullying of Pattikad Feroz and his friends in the beginning of the film). So another criticism pointed out against the climax of this film is if there was "any possibility" of danger waiting at Chappara, then Gadha would have sensed it and she would not have gone with her friends and also would have advised her friends to not to go to Chappara. Gadha John is not the type of girl who ends up in these types of dangerous situations due to the fact that she is both wise and cautious girl and makes her decisions carefully. Gadha's capability of sensing things immediately can also be seen in the scene where Priya asks Gadha if Roshan is having an affair with Gadha and Gadha immediately realizes that her classmate Shan told Priya about this and also in the scene where Gadha sensing Roshan's attraction towards Priya while all three are walking together under the umbrella.
