In this episode, we find out that there's a guy who's been mistaken for the spree killer in the Las Vegas shooting. As Trevor points out, it's very odd people would mistake him for someone who had committed suicide. We get more discussion on gun control. The funniest part of the whole episode might have been when the correspondent was talking about how much he cared about the situation with Russia in comparison to how bad his crotch felt. That is, none at all. How reassuring for at least one of us. The guest is none other than former Daily Show worker John Hodgman.
John was actually a correspondent back when Jon Stewart was on the show that is, during most of the show's run. It was interesting to see someone whom Trevor Noah had never personally worked with on the show. We end by looking at Jordan Klepper's show which I'm going to admit I'm not interested in. Other Daily Show correspondents had their own shows and the best of those was of course "The Colbert Report". That would be a tough act to follow so I'm not interested in watching most other shows. ***1/2
