The Swedish principle of publicity is about to be eroded and this because of the Scientology movement in the USA. Scientology's holy book has been classified contrary to the Swedish public policy. The copy that has being sent to the library of the Swedish Parliament are being guarded by members of the Church of Scientology.

They call us tinkers. The children were taken from them. The authorities wanted to sterilize them. Their noses and heads were measured to determine if they belonged to an inferior breed. Families were mapped and registered. It happened in Sweden in the middle of World War II and continued right up until the mid-60s. Thousands of Swedes were persecuted, simply because the authorities labeled them as "tinker".

On the night of April 24, 1992, 14-year-old Daniel Sigström suffocated to death in an epileptic fit in his foster home. The boy was then left without the supervision he needed due to his illness. Daniel's death marked the end of nearly three years in a series of foster homes. Mother Marianne was deprived of all custody and Daniel therefore forcibly taken into care by Gottsunda municipality. Tomorrow, Monday 20 March, an unusual trial will begin in Uppsala district court: Marianne has sued the municipality for having caused her son's death and is demanding damages in the millions.

When Anders Högström was 18, he founded what is today Sweden's largest Nazi organization, the National Socialist Front. He has been in prison for both violent crimes and weapons theft. And, he was one of the 62 people named in the four biggest newspapers' Nazi publication last year. In tonight's Cold facts, we get to take part in a charged meeting, filled with emotions. The People's Republic of China has become a socialist market economy that is growing in power and influence. According to experts, with its current growth, China will overtake the EU in 2008 and the US in 2010. Reporter Bim Enström has traveled there and met both Swedes who are active there and Chinese, and they share their view of what is happening. Although China is changing, it is still a long way from democracy. Censorship is harsh and according to Amnesty, just over a thousand people were executed by capital punishment last year.

In September 2003, two Russian women in their twenties arrived at Arlanda airport. They had traveled here to participate in a project at Uppsala University, and were stated to be exchange students. But the women instead hung out with a group of men at university. Ecocrime investigators who were at the same hotel became suspicious and the police launched "Operation Luder".

In 2002 Ari Mattinen was sentenced to life prison for throwing his partner Virpi Lehtionen from the window on the seventh floor. "Kalle fakta" have previously reported on Aris case and now a new reconstruction has been carried out which shows that the courts were probably misled. The decisive factor for the case's solution is why the woman was at the window. Was it a murder, suicide or accident?
