Its not bad i think 1 seson is better than season 2 vartolu is very nice

Çukur is the only Turkish TV series that always attracts me to follow it . I think çukur is one of the best Turkish series ever . It is no my top 5 list .

If you are a father, soon to be a father, or ever hope to be one one day you should watch Cukur and how Idris Kocovali is as a father and use him as an example of how not to do it. Idris is the worst. If I had to rate him from 1-10 for his fathering he would get minus 37. He is a truly horrifying man that for some reason this show seems to close everyones eyes to. Emotionally abusive, physically abusive, cheating, neglectful. Well done to Cumali for raising himself and his brothers right is all I can say. Another awful thing about idris is his taste in women, sultan is satan incarnate and meliha went back to someone who shot her. Idris owes an apology to basically everyone in cukur but the snake even got himself out of that with a saintly exit.

I've watched so many TV-Series whether Americans, English, Turkish, Arabic, Spanish, you name it. From Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Suits, Polat Alemdar, God Father arabic tv show, and so on. Cukur one of the best and Underrated tv-shows in my opinion. I've rated only two tv-shows with 10 stars anf Cukur is one of them, when you can't watch any tv-series for a while after you finish a specific tv-shows you start to realize how good was that one is. I've been trying to watch so many tv-shows after Cukur stopped and I feel almost all of them are boring after the Cukur stopped. I've never felt something like this since Game of Thrones ended, I mean you start watching one episode then somehow you end up watching at least 7 episodes straight without feeling the time. The characters and the charisma were great, the musics, intros and themes were unbelievable even I've created a play list to listen to them while I am driving. Also, what I really liked about Cukur, you cannot predict anything with this TV-show. It is just my opinion, but I really enjoyed this TV-show and everyone I recommend it to him say the same.

I am not a fan of action .. but this series is a legend that is a mixture of everything from action, love and drama

It took me a while to get my head together and 3 hours so that I can write this review, because when it gets to Cukur I usually have so many things to say, but at the same time I become speechless, since this tv serie leaves you nothing but powerful emotions. "Icerde and Cukur"- the best that happened to me during this quarantine. After watching Icerde I couldn't watch anything else..No tv serie that I began and tried to watch after it had a zest to get me instantly hooked on. So because of the cast, especially because of Aras, I started to watch Cukur. My first experience was unsuccessful, I could hardly watch 4 episodes. It was somehow difficult to get into the story..too many characters and names, fire guns, all at a once.. it was too much information delivered not in the easiest way to the viewer, so my brain understood nothing but Yamac and Sena scenes. I couldn't continue to watch it, mainly because of that. After 2 weeks I saw some great key scenes videos from Cukur on instagram, and then I said to myself "There's going to happen something interesting, I have to watch it again, from the beginning". That's what i actually did, and from that moment on I've fallen into this pit forever! I heard many stories like mine, so please, if you read this- Do Not Give Up! My advice to you is to watch at least 6-10 episodes, then you'll want more and more. The first episodes are not understandable, whereas Gokhan Horzum (writer) have a special way of developing events and revealing each character to the viewers, step by step. This tv serie is like a puzzle, and if you watch it with maximum attention to every detail, you'll see that the writer gives you signs, in one form or another. A meaning was put in everything in Cukur, that's why I trully admire Gokhan for! Brilliant plot! The cast...oh, the cast... everyone has absolutely great performance, but my favourite is Aras Bulut Iynemli! Everytime I find an ocasion to mention him, I do it with my biggest pleasure, because he's the one of the best actors I've ever seen in my entire life! How can a man play this way? So natural, so true..it's impossible not no believe him. As a little i used to watch american movies all the time, but these masterpieces called Icerde and Cukur deserve Oscars for sure! Aras deserves as much international acclaim and success as american top actors. I can't explain that, but Aras' acting is even way better than top american's ones! They have a lack of expressivity, i don't know.. but none of them reached my heart the way Aras did. That's insane the way he even moves his eyebrows, have you noticed? He can make so many facial expressions: surprise, fear, sadness, anger, happiness and many more..oh, but I have no words to describe how mind-blowing it is when he shows his character's feelings of loosing a beloved one, the way he cries...His voice is as versatile as his facial. I don't know how, but he controls it so well and these two make an unbelievable duo. As for me, pronouncing the text is not enough, the intonation of the voice is the key to make the necessary atmosphere of the whole acting (beside gesticulation and movements of course) and Aras does it great! (resulting from this I recommend to watch Cukur ONLY with subtitles if it's possible, in order to hear the actors' voices). He always transforms into, he lives his characters, he feels them...How is it possible to get such a satisfaction, a rollercoaster of emotions and feelings when watching a movie/ Tv serie??? It was something unknown for me, until I discovered Aras! Turkey is so lucky to have him! He is a gem of cinematography! Yes, Aras is a gem indeed! He is a Legend, indeed! Someone wrote here a review that Cukur is not a copy of Icerde. I totally agree, these two are too unique and beautiful, each in its own way, so you definitely have to watch Cukur if you love Icerde!!! When talking about soundtracks I have to undoubtly mention the talented Toygar Isikli! His music plays such an important role when creating the necessary atmosphere. His music emphasizes characters' emotions acted by the cast..and suddenly sad moments become even more sad, happy ones even happier and so on.. all the Cukur music is Great, the songs too. Oh, but the wall writings from Cukur are a different, an appart type of masterpiece. Some of them sounds especially beautiful to me..wisely, poetical and philosophical somehow. And the last thing I have to mention is the wonderful balance between comedy, drama, action, crime and thriller, so that you never get bored of! Great jokes that make you laugh and relax even in the most tense moments or even some sad moments! That could only a genius think about!!! I've watched all the episodes so far and I want to congratulate all the cast and team with the 100th anniversary episode and for such an amazing serie! As for me (I watched many Turkish tv series and of other countries too) these are INCOMPARABLE to any others seen so far! Icerde and Cukur are the LEGENDS of the Turkish tv! I highly recommend to watch Cukur! A rollercoaster of emotions is guaranteed! P.S. It surely deserves a higher score, but don't mind, yet Cukur is not a tv serie for everyone! Brilliant writing, acting, I don't even need to mention the music that they make. Just magnificent, the show that always keeps you on the edge of your seat.

I loved season 1&2 but i don't know why they ruined it then, season 4 was unnecessary tbh and the last episode was so unmeaningful .The reason why i kept watching was vartulo he is such an amazing actor with great acting this was first and gonna be last turkish drama i will watch and the amount time of one episode is too long.

It has everything from family and brotherhood to love and action. I love the cast the plot the music. Love it love it love it.

Actually i was so eager when i heard there is a another corporation btw ay yapim & the show tv after "icerde" but honestly i became a little disappointed..Cinematography,directing and soundtracks are very good and even most of the cast crew are playing so pro spc Aras! I enjoy watching this show more and often if i ignore some gripes!

lead woman role!she plays so Amateur and phony !not even 10 % suitable for her role!the couple of drama don't look like a married one..more like boyfriend girlfriend though..i couldn't still contact with the;it shows no sign of such a hot love between them as they wanted us to believe..not touchable!maybe at least they didn't wanna involve Yamach with love issues as well !the plot itself is good but the screenplay is going to be more and more predictable and weak,annoying slow pace,there is some tensions but the way they picture it sometimes reduce a lot of its attractiveness or even screw at all..there is a lot of details which overlooked... . . anyway i hope it gonna be better and give us a high quality show which we deserve..

I just had to keep watching because I did watch first season and it was okay! But season two it's just boring. There is no scenario at all, they are playing randomly! At first season you could see the mental reason behind scenario, but second season doesn't give that taste! Where is the legal authority; for example police enforcement. If someone who doesn't know Turkey will think that there is no police!

There is absolutely no connection between the two. It's like compare ferrari to fiat Cukur is brilliant.

This series is really amazing an action packed filled with tearjerker moments with wonderful cast really, aras bulut (yamac) the lead role of the series is badass man he you can call a john wick when it comes for action the story is great and the music they pick is awsome really enjoyed the 3 seasons and continuing Really this show is my top 1 i hope it will continue

In the beginning, I watched many popular series locally and internationally, but why did I put Çukur on the top of my favorite series at all? 1-The plot is amazing and the general story of the series entices viewers to follow this legendary action.

2-The sequence of events, great production method, and the great company Ay Yapim that always dazzles us with its series.

3-The complete cast and giving each character their right to appear and the presence of Aras Bulut Iynemli and Erkan Kolçak Köstendil.

4-Shooting location, shooting angles, and professional scriptwriting.

5-Dramatic scenes and action are balanced in a way that serves the original scenario without being artificially created.

6-And at the end of all this, the series music draws you in even when you're done with the series by hearing it on YouTube over and over again.

The best series ive watched from turkey or any other countries. Cant stop watching.

If you watched icerde you may notice that the cast of cukur have lots of members from icerde's cast but it has a very different story and it is a beautiful one . The characters are very strong and also the women rules are very important in this action series . And it is rare to see that women's deeds can make a change in the story in this type of series . The music in Cukur is very beautiful , we have also songs along with soundtracks that will excite you to know what will happen next . I think it is a masterpiece

Cannot give enough credits to how much this TV series is great.

After watching Icerde,I was super excited to see this. But it has failed to deliver any where near Icerde. It's slow pace,the unnecessary hype that is created and boring story line. Scattered story with weak characters.

Overall good show. The best thing about it is the music and wonderful soundtracks by Toygar.

Seasons 1 & 2 were full of action and fast paced.

Season 3 was interesting but a bit slow-paced for me. The best thing was the addition of the wonderful character Efsun. She's a grey character with an incredible story. The award-winning actress Damla Sönmez portrayed Efsun in the best way possible.

Season 4 was full of events but I did not enjoy it. Once again, the only thing giving value to the show in seasons 3 & 4 was the wonderful EfYam storyline. Efsun and Yamaç's love was the cherry on top of the cake.

It's not THE BEST Turkish show out there but it's pretty decent, just a bit too lengthy to watch.

If you're soft this series isn't for you. This show is a masterpiece. If you give this a low rating I suggest go watch a boring show like Sen Cal Kapimi.

Çukur is more of an emotion. I loved watching it. But, the quality of this show, never the great tbh. They were just making the series long cuz they profitted a lot. The scene were really creative. But, the storyline was a mess. As I said, they wanted to increase the serie's length, fu(k story.
