The final Thanksgiving episode involves everything great about a classic Middle episode. It focuses on the poor financial state of the family, the humorous relationships between the family during car rides, and a satisfying ending that pleases the viewer. The storyline revolves around the three kids all working at Spudsies when one of them has to be fired. It also revolves on the families disorganized adventure to Frankie's sisters house. Like always, they come across a few bumps. This leads them to the discussion of how the world isn't nice anymore. In the end, while in traffic, Frankie decides there is no way that they will get to her sisters house and decides to eat the food she prepared outside of the car. This leads to the other people to do the same and this reminds Frankie that there still is good in the world. At the end there was also a heartwarming montage of the past Heck Thanksgiving. All in all, it was a comedic and touching final Heck Thanksgiving that showcased the shows greatest strengths.
